Board of Review

Board of reviews are required for each of the following ranks:
Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, Eagle*, and Eagle Palms
* Eagle boards follow a different process. Check with your Eagle mentor.

Requesting a Board of Review (Held on the 3rd Monday of the month)

After having a Scout Master Conference and receiving sign-off, you need to request a Board of Review.
  1. The scout should send an email to the Advancement Chair.
  2. Include the rank you are hoping to move up to.
  3. The Advancement Chair will then let you know when your board of review will take place.
  4. On the day of the Board of Review, you must be in full dress uniform with sash and have your Boy Scout book and a rope. (If not in full dress uniform, your board will be rescheduled.)

Note:  Depending on the number of requests, multiple boards may be run. Boards are assigned in the order in which they are received. Therefore, it is important that you send your request as soon as possible after your Scout Master conference.
